Studious and moodious

Yes, I like to make up words. Please don't try to correct me, it's kind of a hobbious.

Art history, ah, what a tumultous relationship I have with thee. Sometimes I love thee, sometimes loath. Sometimes I just like to speak of ye in ol' timey language. Oh woe. Is me.
As I am currently studying for a visual test I thought I would share a couple of my favourite images from my Australian Art course and obviously waste some time.

Joy Hester, Boy with bird, 1957, watercolour

George Baldessin, Personage with striped dress, 1968, etching

I realise now seeing these two images together that they are vaguely similar. This probably tells me something about my current mood, maybe that I'm hot for bung eyes? And now I have totally creeped myself out.

Wow, Joy Hester reminds me so much of college, I had a huge obsession with her in year 11. I'm loving the blog and plan to be a regular reader, keep it up!
